humanize instead of ostracize

“I can't believe she just said that?” “WOW! I can't even imagine how hard his life must be.” “Am I allowed to ask that?” So often in life, we encounter people who view or experience the world differently than we do. If we are lucky, we can learn from that person but we may not know where to start. Wish You Knew provides that opportunity! We strive to provide all voices a platform to be heard, a seat at the table. Each week we will meet with a new guest who self claims a minority identity, unique perspective, or unconventional lifestyle. We will learn about how they experience life to look for the similarities we all share instead of the differences that some use to divide.

Keep listening. Keep learning. Keep loving.
